Drones are quickly becoming a must have in the real estate world. More so here in South Florida where we have stunning beaches, beautiful parks and amenities galore! Giving your buyers a Birds Eye perspective of a property, an area of land or beachfront home isn't just attractive, it also sells. Most agents and brokers rely on drone stills to showcase the bird's eye view of the property. This is a great use of a drone but only in its most basic form. Where drones really shine are in there a bit in their ability to create a movie-like video that gives the viewer a sense of wonder in addition to showcasing the property in question. In a nutshell, it makes the home or property look bigger and better.
An often overlooked feature of using a drone in your business is the ability to shoot featured properties video clips and put them on your website, Facebook page or on your Google My Business profile. Drone images and video not only enhance your website, social media accounts and Google My Business listing, they also help you stand out from the competition.
As a real estate photographer (and also is an ex-IT professional), I've had the chance of using various drones in my real estate marketing world. Here's my top three drones to use in real estate based on my experience, reading reviews and working with other various real estate professionals. There are literally dozens of options when it comes to drones so instead of going with a big list ( which is easy given the number of choices we have!) I'm suggesting we look at the top three drones from most expensive to least expensive that will fit the bill and do the job of making you look your best and differentiate yourself from the competition. Check them out and see if they are an option for your business. Happy flying and enjoy!Â
